About the Pilgrimage
Ryan Scheel, Ryan DellaCrosse, and Fr. Michael Nixon are inviting you to join them on the pilgrimage of a lifetime — walking in prayer at the three greatest Marian apparition sites in the world.
This isn't a tour group. It's your Catholic family, on the road together, doing the thing we were made for — seeking her face in the places she chose to appear.

Day by Day
Depart on an overnight flight to Toulouse, France. Dinner and breakfast served on the flight. Your pilgrimage begins the moment you board.
We arrive in France and celebrate Mass at the tomb of St. Thomas Aquinas in the stunning Church of the Jacobins in Toulouse. We then visit La Maison Seilhan — the house where St. Dominic founded the Order of Preachers. That evening in Lourdes, we join pilgrims from every nation on earth for the Candlelight Procession and the praying of the Rosary.
We celebrate Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle — the very rock where Our Lady appeared eighteen times to St. Bernadette and identified herself as the Immaculate Conception. We walk in Bernadette's footsteps, visiting Boly Mill where she was born and the Cachot, the abandoned jail cell where her impoverished family lived. That evening, we join the Candlelight Procession.
A second full day in Lourdes. We pray the life-sized Stations of the Cross on the hillside overlooking the Grotto, and bathe in the miraculous waters of the healing spring that Our Lady herself revealed to Bernadette. In the evening, we gather on the great esplanade for the Blessed Sacrament Procession — one of the most profound expressions of Eucharistic faith you will ever witness.
We cross the Pyrenees, the stunning mountain range that divides France from Spain, and arrive in Zaragoza — home to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, the site of the first Marian apparition in history. While still living, Our Lady appeared to St. James the Apostle here in AD 40, leaving behind the pillar upon which she stood. We celebrate Mass and venerate that same pillar, then visit the Cathedral of La Seo, one of Spain's great Gothic masterpieces.
We travel west through Spain's celebrated Rioja wine region, stopping at a local winery for a memorable lunch and tasting of some of the finest wines in the world. We then continue to Ávila — one of the best preserved medieval walled cities in Europe and the birthplace of St. Teresa of Ávila, the first woman ever named a Doctor of the Church. We settle in for dinner and our first night in her hometown.
We visit Alba de Tormes to venerate the incorrupt relics of St. Teresa of Ávila and celebrate Mass at the Convent of the Annunciation — the site of her death in 1582. We return to Ávila with the afternoon free to explore the medieval ramparts and cobblestone streets at your own pace.
We visit Salamanca — known as "the Golden City" for the warm amber glow of its sandstone buildings — home to one of the oldest universities in the world, founded in 1134. We celebrate Mass at the magnificent cathedral and spend the day exploring this stunning medieval city, including several sites connected to the life of St. Teresa of Ávila.
We cross into Portugal and stop in Áveiro — charmingly known as the Venice of Portugal for the colorful boats that glide along its canals — for lunch and a welcome break. We arrive in Fátima in the late afternoon, one of the most visited pilgrimage destinations in the world, made holy by the apparitions of Our Lady to three shepherd children in 1917. Mass is celebrated on arrival.
A full day in Fátima. We celebrate Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and visit the childhood homes of Lúcia, Francisco, and Jacinta in the hamlet of Aljustrel — the three shepherd children to whom Our Lady appeared six times in 1917. We visit Valinhos, the site of the August apparition, and pray the outdoor Stations of the Cross. That evening we join pilgrims from every corner of the world for the Candlelight and Blessed Sacrament Procession across the great esplanade.
We stop in Santarém to venerate one of the most remarkable Eucharistic miracles in Church history — a consecrated Host that transformed into living flesh and blood in the 13th century and remains so to this day. We then continue to Lisbon, one of Europe's most beautiful capital cities, for free time to explore on your own. We gather in the evening for a special farewell dinner together.
We return with the graces and memories of our pilgrimage to share with your friends and cherish forever.
